To be honest, foldable phone sounds a bit gimmicky and unreliable, but they have been popular and trendy for the past 5 to 6 years. Starting around 2019 with the Samsung Galaxy Fold ( 1st generation) and other brands starting testing in 2018. As of past few years foldable phone has had its build quality inproved and fixing the issues that have plagued the previous models, and ironing out the wrinkles per say, aka the center fold.

Samsung will unveil it's creations on the 9 July 2025, in Brooklyn, NY. "Because every masterpiece needs a caption", the event headliner is the "Ultra Unfolds" confirms the arrival of an "Ultra" foldable alongside what's likely the Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 FE.

Samsung hasn't spilled the beans on full color range, but what we can expect may be a mix classy Greys, silver, black and maybe a pop of color, with interesting names for marketing.
Final Thoughts: Should you make the purchase.
If you like living on the edge of tech, "flexing" on your friends and having a phone that turns heads at the coffee shop, yes.
If you're happy with your current phone and not in to the trends and you also like eating " FOOD" instead of a folding phone... maybe wait for the Z Fold Ultra FE in 2026.
But I'm not telling you what to do.
Either way... Samsung just made folding phones fun again.
